The cable is functional, not an original Playstation cable, they have a square and round keyed plug design to be inserted only one way, this cable has both round and is still usable. I guess it really doesn't matter which way it is inserted as the device still functioned.
After losing my original PS2 power cord in my move, I ordered one from this kind user and it came within a few days. It works beautifully and I would gladly order from this person again.
My kids couldn't play their game because, somehow, they lost their power cord. Found this on amazon for nothing. One of the best things I've ever found on the internet. Kids happy ever since.
Well, it fit. Seemed like it took a long time to get here, but I'm impatient. Anyways, it works with the old ps2s.
